The San Juan Hills Stallions played host to the Calabasas Coyotes on Saturday, November 10th in a game that was rescheduled due to the impact that the Woolsey Fire had on many Calabasas players, families and fans.

The Stallions battled the Coyotes throughout, displaying the toughness that defined them all season.  Nic Mendiola provided San Juan’s first spark of the night when he recovered a Calabasas fumble and returned it 35 yards for a touchdown that energized the Stallions to close the first half scoring at 21-7.

Cade Albright once again had an impressive night, tallying 3 sacks while applying pressure in the Coyotes backfield all night.  Unfortunately for the Stallions, Joey Hobert was forced from the game with an injury in the 1st half, which limited some options.  The Stallions stayed in the game after Chase Monarch and Austin Hogan added a pair of touchdowns in the 4th quarter, but in the end, Calabasas came away with the 41-20 win and now advance to host Upland in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 semifinals.
