Noteworthy: He had two interceptions and five tackles in a 22-15 win over Edison in a CIF-SS Division 2 first-round playoff game. Hobert (5-10, 165), who plays safety and receiver and also punts, kicks off and returns punts and kickoffs, also had seven receptions for 157 yards and a touchdown and a 54-yard run on a fake punt. “Joey is the most dynamic player I’ve coached,” said San Juan Hills coach Robert Frith. The Stallions (8-3) play at home against second-seeded Calabasas (9-2) in the quarterfinals Friday.
