Katie Lukes – Female Athlete of the Year

Katie was one of our two senior captains as well as our offensive leader with a team leading 485 kills (100 more than our next leading scorer).  Katie was named both the South Coast League MVP and to the D1 All-CIF team for the second straight season this fall.

Katie also led us to a second straight undefeated South Coast League Title.  Katie put in the hard work day in and day out to continue to improve every aspect of her game throughout the season.

Katie kept improving both her skills and her mental game and what really stands out are the big improvements she made to her serving game as she developed into one of our most effective and consistent servers as the season went on.

Katie will be competing in the West Coast Conference for the USD Toreros next fall who finished the 2017 season ranked 13th in the nation.

Katie has undoubtedly left her mark on the Stallions Volleyball Program and led our program to new heights.  We wish Katie all the best in her collegiate career and thank her for her outstanding contributions to San Juan Hills Volleyball!
