BOYS BASKETBALL TOP 25

(Records through Dec. 11)

1. Mater Dei 6-1: Monarchs beat Tesoro, Etiwanda and Edison while going 4-0 in the Beach Bash tournament and winning the tournament championship.

2. Crean Lutheran 3-0: After beating Laguna Beach in the Beach Bash, the Saints had to withdraw from the tournament after a positive COVID-19 test in its basketball program.

3. Santa Margarita 9-0: Eagles won nonleague games against Fairmont Prep of San Juan Capistrano and Costa Mesa.

4. Fairmont Prep: 6-3: The Huskies had a win over St. Anthony and loss to Damien in the Bosco Winter Classic before having to pull out of the tournament because of COVID-19 protocols.

5. Capistrano Valley Christian 9-0: Eagles went 4-0 in their Eagle Classic, including a win over Dana Hills.

6. Orange Lutheran 7-3: Lancers played once last week, a win over St. Bonaventure.

7. Fountain Valley 2-2: Barons did not play last week.

8. San Juan Hills 12-2: Stallions were 4-0 in the Eagle Classic at Capistrano Valley, including a 17-point win over Cypress.

9. Edison 7-3: Chargers defeated Foothill and Pacifica Christian in Beach Bash tournament.

10. Foothill 9-1: Knights defeated JSerra in the Beach Bash and beat Tustin in a nonleague game.
